Best Philanthropy for Alpha Gam Grab-A-Man
Gold Wreath Chapter

No matter what year you are, it can be a constant struggle to find your place, feel comfortable, and feel at home. Being a part of a sorority in college can be like finding your home away from home. In joining Alpha Gamma Delta, we have found that it is not the place that makes us feel at home, but the people. I know personally, Alpha Gamma Delta has become my rock, the place I can turn to when I need a listening ear, a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.
In the Zeta Delta chapter, we are lucky enough to have a diverse group of girls to call our sisters. We are not a group that has just one look or limited interests. What makes an Alpha Gam, a true Alpha Gam is something much more than the way they look or the clothes they wear. We are a group of girls that are open to new experiences filled with friendship, service, scholarship, leadership, and campus involvement.
As loyal, caring, and hardworking Alpha Gams, our chapter is involved in many activities on Towson University's campus. In the past semester we have enjoyed social events such as a Crush Party, Socials, and Formal. We also held a fundraising event called Alpha Gam Grab-A-Man where we raised $1,400 for our Philanthropy, the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which raises money for Diabetes. Not only do we hold our own events, but we actively participate in activities put on by other campus organizations.
After transferring to Towson as a sophomore from New Hampshire, I knew no one. I struggled to find that one place that I belonged. The day that I met the girls in this chapter was the day I met my sisters for life. Through our diversity, we come together through a shared purpose of love and support.
Please take a look around at our website and contact us if you have any questions! We hope you to meet you soon!
All the best!
